Twitter was atwitter about the continued snub from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts at last night’s Oscar presentation. This time the African American & Little People Communities are in an uproar for not having one person from their respective group out of 50 honored during the In Memoriam portion of the show. Spike Lee, The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), National Association for the Upward Mobility of Little People (OOMPALOOPA) and the National Association for the Advancement of Anyone Other Than White People (NAAAOTWP) are requesting inclusion in next year’s segment, even if they have to kill one of their own kind (actor) to achieve their goals of inclusion. To be fair based on U.S. population that would be 6 African American’s and 0.000001 of a little person.
Here at BobJokeTooMuch.com we fully support their efforts and further protest the exclusion of Super Dave Osborne.
